What bathroom mirrors are there - we explain the differences
At least once a day, we take a look in the mirror. A dreamy face in the morning or a chic reflection in the evening: the mirror gives you courage and strength for the day. But with a multitude of different variations, it is important to find a mirror that is perfect for you. Therefore, different types of bathroom mirrors are explained in more detail hereafter.
Crystal mirror: The crystal mirror is a real classic that can be customised with a frame made of wood, metal or other materials, in round or square form. This mirror has a low depth. Its crystal glasses create more clarity and purity, as they have a natural colour reproduction. Optionally it is available in an illuminated version.
Illuminated mirror: Not every bathroom has an open window that can illuminate the room. A good alternative for little daylight are illuminated mirrors. An illuminated mirror combines mirror and lighting, and you can choose between surface-mounted, all-round or side lighting. There is plenty of scope for customizing the design. Indirect lighting can be integrated, too.
Heated mirror: A practical mirror heater is also available with some mirrors. A mirror with mirror heating can be used directly after a hot shower.
Adjustable mirror: To get an all-round view in the morning, an adjustable mirror is a good choice. This is also ideal with a low height. The tipping function can be adjusted as needed, so you can enjoy a beautiful view. It is also highly recommended for a barrier-free bathroom, as the tilt position allows you to see yourself even when sitting.
Cosmetic mirror: No bathroom should be without a cosmetic mirror. Both men and women love to dress up, perform a relaxing daily care routine or simply look at themselves in an elegant light. These mirrors are also available in different versions: whether floor-standing or wall-mounted model, with or without lighting as well as movable arm or magnification. You can compose your own mirror according to your individual needs and preferences. Each category offers further design options. For example, you can choose between LED lighting, adjustable light colours or a touch screen. The choice of an integrated rechargeable battery or battery operation is entirely up to you. If you are not allowed or do not want to drill holes in your bathroom, you can opt for a self-adhesive mirror. For this purpose, cosmetic mirrors are available in a variety of colours and designs to integrate them into the existing interior design. For an all-round feel-good look in the mirror, you can also install an adjustable swivel arm.
