Viega Sanpress fittings represent an advanced compression connector system designed for optimized flow. These press fittings are made of either high-quality gunmetal or Viega's globally standardized silicon bronze alloy (as part of the current production changeover). A notable feature of Viega Sanpress fittings is the cylindrical pipe guide, which serves as a protective mechanism for the sealing element. From a diameter of 76.1 millimeters, the press fittings are equipped with a stainless steel cutting ring to ensure the mechanical strength of the connection. In addition, the tubes are fitted with tube plugs for protection. The pressing force is applied both in Front of and behind the sealing element, which ensures an extremely reliable seal. Viega Sanpress fittings are therefore ideal for surface-mounted and concealed installations of risers as well as floor installations.
