Years ago Hansa started to deal with this issue and developed a process to make their taps free of lead and nickel to protect the health of their customers. Each Hansa kitchen tap has been equipped with the Hansprotect technology several years ago to ensure a constant and safe nickel-free and lead-free drinking water supply. Thanks to the special brass alloy in the interior of the tap, Hansa kitchen taps are particularly resistant to corrosion and thus minimize the washout of pollutants to a minimum. In addition, the life time of the taps is extended by the high quality requirements which Hansa apply to their taps.
Hansaeco control cartridge for ideal water consumption
In addition, all Hansa kitchen taps were equipped with the Hansa Hansaeco control cartridge. The Hansaeco control cartridge makes every Hansa kitchen mixer particularly water-saving and thus energy-efficient, without any savings in comfort. Thanks to the special Hansaeco technology, the flow rate of a tap can be reduced from an average of 12 l / min to 8-6 l / min.
