Development of the first Geberit plastic cistern
Always looking for innovations, Geberit is entering the plastics processing industry in 1935 and produces corrosion-resistant cisternparts and pipes. The Second World War was not good for the business of the company, and even the post-war period is not easy as the next generation Geberit brothers enters the leadership of the parental enterprise and brings this further forward, not least by the production of the first Geberit flushing cistern made of plastic. In 1953 the protection mark Geberit was registered. The Geberit plastic cistern becomes a complete success and the Geberit Company is entering the waste water technology and extends its production with Geberit odor closures (siphons), Geberit drains and other pices, around the sanitary installation. Ten years later, Geberit introduced the first Geberit concealed cistern.
From the Geberit shower WC to the Geberit AquaClean
The basic idea of the shower toilet was to combine the functions of toilet and bidet, so that you can sit comfortably on the toilet and the cleaning with warm water is started at the push of a button. A function that also today's modern Geberit AquaClean devices have. In the meantime, the intensity of the shower jet can be determined independently and this is by no means the only function of a modern Geberit AquaClean shower toilet. Those who opt for a Geberit AquaClean are spoiled for choice when it comes to comfort. Starting with a relaxing massaging shower by the gentle Ladyshower to the moving water jet, a Aquaclean offers you all that. Developed over decades, the odour extraction of the geberit was of course also integrated into the Geberit AquaClean WCs. After cleaning, the WC dries you completely environmentally friendly so you can dispense with toilet paper.
The Geberit AquaClean WC cleans itself rimless and quiet, so this aspect also makes the rimless WC particularly hygienic. The latest Geberit AquaCleans also have discreet LED orientation light, which makes the use of the toilet particularly comfortable at night.
