What is actually a pre-installation and when do you need this kind of installation? These are all questions that can be answered by your installer, but certainly he will tell you which Geberit frame you need. There are different versions of individual building situations and ceramics to be installed. Thus, a different pre-wall element is required for each ceramic. So there is one for the toilet, the bidet, the urinal and the basin. If you have decided which pre-wall element you want to install, you have to think about the building situation. The sections Geberit Duofix dry construction and Geberit Kombifix wet construction are divided into three subsegments: Duofix Delta, Sigma and Omega, and Kombifix Delta, Sigma and Omega. These terms have only been known for short time, but before, these elements existed too, but under different names. The pre-wall frame Geberit Sigma has already been brought on the market many years ago, known as Geberit UP320, has established itself there and has continuously developed over the years. Geberit Sigma is, so to speak, the all-rounder; whereas Geberit Delta is the basic variant. For practical purpose it was called Geberit Basic before the renaming in Delta, and Geberit Omega is the small variant of the pre-wall installation.

In summary, all Geberit frames, whether Kombifix or Duofix, are developed for the installation of WCs. However, there are also Duofix and Kombifix elements for the installation of washbasin, urinal or bidet. Frequently, the Geberit pre-wall frames and the matching flush plate are identified by the same name, a Geberit Sigma flush plate for example fits perfectly to a Duofix Sigma wc frame.
