Water-saving thermostatic shower systems and thermostatic mixers

If you want to save water and energy in the bathroom, you still don't have to do without the luxury of a thermostatic shower system consisting of an overhead shower, hand shower and thermostatic shower mixer. There is now a wide range of water-saving shower systems such as the hansgrohe Crometta E 240 Showerpipe with EcoSmart technology. With such shower systems, the overhead shower and the hand shower are used separately from each other and thus a maximum water consumption of approx. 10 litres per minute is achieved with the overhead shower. With the hand shower, consumption is lower and usually less than 6 litres per minute. Another advantage is a water-saving thermostatic shower mixer, helping to always set the desired water temperature immediately. There is no need to find the correct temperature while water and energy consumption is saved, too. Water-saving thermostatic shower mixers are available from many manufacturers, such as the hansgrohe Ecostat, the Grohe Grohtherm or Ideal Standard CeraTherm thermostatic mixers.
