Purpose of use
This product filters drinking water according to the defined quality criteria of the WHO (World Health Organization). It protects water pipes and connected water-carrying system components from malfunctions and corrosion damage caused by foreign particles such as rust particles, shavings, sand, hemp, etc. The filter is not suitable for use with chemically treated circulating water, process water, or cooling water for once-through cooling systems. For water containing coarse dirt particles, a coarse dirt separator must be installed upstream. The filters are not suitable for oils, greases, solvents, soaps, or other lubricating media, nor for removing water-soluble substances.

The raw water flows through the raw water inlet into the filter and from the inside out through the filter element to the clean water outlet. Foreign particles larger than the filter mesh are retained on the inside of the filter fabric. When the water pressure noticeably drops due to increasing contamination of the filter fabric, but no later than 6 months, the filter element must be backwashed! Backwashing is done manually and operates according to the innovative, patented rotary impulse backwashing principle.
