High-efficiency circulating pump ALPHA SOLAR for use in solar thermal systems with variable or constant volume flow. High efficiency heat pumps with an electronically commutated motor (ECM), like the ALPHA SOLAR, must not be controlled via an external speed controller that changes or varies the supply voltage.

The speed can be regulated via a pulse-width modulated signal (PWM signal) supplied by the solar system controller in order to optimize the solar energy yield and the system temperature. This also significantly reduces the power consumption of the pump.

If no PWM signal is available, the ALPHA SOLAR can be set to one of 4 constant speeds. The pump is then only switched on and off via the controller.

In order to be able to install this product, an intervention in the 230 volt network must be made. Work on the 230 volt network may only be carried out by a qualified electrician (according to VDE 0100)!
